Count every part of the bill

Budget notes for a book peptide clinic search

The headline is rarely the whole bill. Put the visit, medicine, tests, delivery, and follow-up on separate lines.

The price question

“The page says one price. What will I actually pay?”

Ask for a written total for the first month and for a later month. Then ask what can change: the medicine, the amount supplied, tests, shipping, or the visit plan.

Why one number misleads

The same medicine can have several prices

Name the kind of price

As of September 2026, one branded medicine can have five different prices: the official list price; the cash price without insurance; a discount-card price; a copay-card price offered to some people with private insurance; or a government-program price. Ask which price applies to you and what you must do to get it.

On September 26, 2026, examples ran from $25 a month for an eligible person with commercial insurance using a manufacturer’s copay card to $1,386.42 for four 2.5 mg Mounjaro pens with a discount card at one pharmacy in ZIP 85298. Those two offers apply to different buyers and do not estimate your bill.

Keep the service fee separate

Of the six national telehealth weight-management pages checked in September 2026, five charged a monthly membership and one charged by the visit. All five membership services listed medicine as a separate cost.

Pages checked for this comparison:PlushCare, Ro, Teladoc Health, Sesame, WeightWatchers Clinic, and LifeMD. None is recommended here.
